Trimble to Showcase its Telematics Solutions at Solutrans in Lyon
Trimble (NASDAQ: TRMB) will present its range of on-board computing products for the transport and logistics market at the SOLUTRANS 2013 show, stand 6 W 058.
Backed by solid experience and proven success in the field of on-board computing, Trimble has extended its solutions beyond the CarCube on-board computer to provide a full range of products for transport professionals that can be adapted to meet the needs and budget of enterprises.
Trimble will be showcasing products designed around a common platform called "FleetCockpit," back-office software that extends the planning capabilities for dispatchers.
- CarCube: Full function on-board computer with touch screen for task processing, navigation and responsible eco-driving.
- Truck4U: an on-board computer without a driver GUI for efficient fleet management, FMS-consumption records, driving time and driving style reports.
- FleetXps for Android: mobile smartphone or tablet solution for providers of logistics and freight services with barcode reading and digital signatures. The app allows transport agents to seamlessly integrate subcontractors into their fleet management capabilities.
As part of the FleetCockpit platform, transport enterprises can choose the equipment that best suits their needs without having to integrate another software platform for each purchase of another product in the Trimble range of on-board computers.
